Fabrizio Baccinelli appointed Ocrim's Technical Sales Manager for North America.

Ocrim SpA of Cremona, Italy (www.ocrim.com), is pleased to announce the appointment of Fabrizio Baccinelli as Technical Sales Manager for North America. Baccinelli joined Ocrim in 2002 as management trainee. After completing his training at Ocrim, he traveled to Canada to manage the construction of the new mill at Rodger's Foods, in Chilliwack, BC. In his new role, Baccinelli will work closely with Ocrim's North American representatives, CETEC Cereal Technologies, Inc., Millersville, MD (www.cetec.org) to support existing customers and promote new business opportunities. Baccinelli has, until this promption, been acting as assistant Technical Sales Manager to the North American market.

"The North American market has been extremely important to Ocrim in the past, and our market share has beem expanding rapidly in recent years. Our new product development, in particular our stainless steel equipment range has generated tremendous interest. I look forward to strengthening our relationships with existing customers and building new partnerships in the months and years ahead."

Baccinelli's postion was previously held by Marco Galli, who has been promoted to the important role of Manager of the Technological Department of OCRIM.

Marco Galli appointed Ocrim's Manager of Technological Department

Ocrim SpA of Cremona, Italy (www.ocrim.com), are pleased to announce the appointment of Marco Galli as Manager of their Technological Department, effective January 1, 2006. Galli joined Ocrim in 1983 as a Miller. After completing his training at the Ocrim Milling School, he traveled the world commissioning and designing new flour, semolina and corn plants.

Most recently, Galli was the North American technical sales manager for Ocrim. In this role he worked closely with Ocrim's North Amercian sales representatives, CETEC Cereal Technologies, Inc. He will be replaced in this role by Fabrizio Baccinelli (see Baccinelli).

In his new role, galli will be in charge of all milling technology flows, as well as research and development into new equipment and process innovations. Galli will continue to liaise with customers that hold close associations with Ocrim.

"Technology is the heart of a Milling engineering firm, and has had historical importance at Ocrim. We see technology as an important vehicle to further expand our market share. Our new product development, in particular our "Inoxline" range has generated tremendous interest and I look forward to further strengthening our equipment base."

CETEC/OCRIM awarded contract to build new mill for Mennel Milling Co.

Ocrim SpA of Cremona, Italy (www.ocrim.com), and CETEC Cereal Technologies, Inc. of Millersville, MD(www.cetec.org) are pleased to announce the awarding of the contract for a new 10,000 cwt. mill for The Mennel Milling Company in Roanoke, Virginia. The new plant will be constructed on a green field site.

"Our existing mill had outgrown its location in the city, and was being surrounded by new high tech businesses dealing in the medical field. The city of Roanoke asked us to relocate to a site on the outskirts of town", said Don Mennel, CEO of the Mennel Milling Company, Fostoria Ohio.

The site development and new mill construction will be headed up by Ibberson Construction, of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ibberson will act as General Contractor, and provide the equipment installation crews.

CETEC/OCRIM awarded contract to build new mill for North Dakota Mill & Elevator.

Ocrim SpA of Cremona, Italy (www.ocrim.com), and CETEC Cereal Technologies, Inc. of Millersville, MD(www.cetec.org) are pleased to announce the awarding of the contract for a new 4000 cwt. mill for North Dakota Mill & Elevator, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The contract also includes the expansion of the existing 'K' Mill at the same site.

"Our bread flour market has been growing strongly, and we see great continued potential in the market driving this need for capacity expansion", said Vance Taylor, NDM's General Manager.

The new mill construction will be headed up by Vigen Construction, of East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Vigen will act as General Contractor, and provide the equipment installation crews. the electrical installation will be handled by Interstates Electic of Iowa.

The new ('C') mill will be installed in a new slip formed building, while the 'K' mill expansion will be in an existing building originally supplied by Ocrim in the '70's.
